brice017 Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 I am married to my husband, who is active duty US military. I am a civilian. Our health care is through the military, and is free. Does anyone have any experience with their military spouse getting on PREP. The issue that I see, when asking my doctor is: group sex is considered adultery in the military and is a UCMJ offense; it would also cause a revocation of security clearance - so I can't say that we fool around together. If I say I cheat on my husband, will they still prescribe PREP?
LarsLukas Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 tell em that because military pay is so low you have to sell your ass on the street to make ends meet, and that involves exchange of bodily fluids that you are assumming are positive.
6811283 Posted May 7, 2016 Report Posted May 7, 2016 People have succeeded in getting PrEP covered as a military spouse. Check out the PrEP Facts Facebook page, which has 14,000 members.
