What are your experiences with numbing spray?

I like fucking tight holes. But some of them really stimulate my glans and make it hard to last long. This is a big problem if I haven't cum recently before an encounter. I seriously had to forego barebacking a guy and put on a condom just so I wouldn't cum prematurely.

I was thinking numbing spray could be a better alternative. Has anyone used it? How did it go?

Used something similar on my hole when I was sore from the previous fuck. It took half of the pleasure away, or more than half. Felt like my hole was made of wood. Mechanical. 
 

I guess it feels the same at your dick, just worse. As if it is a piece of plastics, not of flesh. I was once considering to put numbing cream into my hole to make certain tops last longer. But I will not.
