I agree with this reason. Some of the men I have spoken to on Grindr haven’t given me their phone numbers yet so I still only talk to them on there. 

When I am dating someone and they don’t make it clear that it is exclusive, I still go on Grindr just to talk to people for the social aspect, but not really for the sex.
