I think that my preferences about having a smooth body and being into smooth guys was heavily influenced by the standards of beauty that elevated a smooth aesthetic within popular gay culture. As I got older and more hairy, I started to embrace my hairiness and find hairy guys more attractive. I also appreciate that hairy guys get way more love these day in porn and pop culture images. It's so interesting how our desires are shaped and change over time. Quote
