NEDenver Posted July 16, 2022 Report Posted July 16, 2022 [think before following links] https://gcn.ie/conservative-lawyer-access-prep/ Arguing on behalf of his clients, Mitchell writes: “The PrEP mandate violates the Religious Freedom Restoration Act by forcing self-insured religious employers to underwrite coverage that violates their religious beliefs, and by making it impossible for religious individuals and employers to purchase health insurance that excludes this objectionable coverage.” “The PrEP mandate forces religious employers to provide coverage for drugs that facilitate and encourage homosexual behaviour, prostitution, sexual promiscuity, and intravenous drug use.” It's a lot of blah-blah conservatives want consequences for people they don't like.
Shotsfired Posted July 23, 2022 Report Posted July 23, 2022 I imagine this might be circumvented by activist states and orgs like to one looking to build a floating abortion clinic in Federal Waters off the coast of Texas. I am sure mail order helps. Also getting the word out about how much cheaper PrEP is than HIV care is for taxpayers. 2
