mashimaro Posted June 16, 2023 Report Share Posted June 16, 2023 Hey guys, I received a text with a screenshot of my post. The person threatens to send the pics to my family members. They requested 1200 dollars sent via paypal through friends and family. I did not send the money. He also called me from a South Carolina number, he was texting me from a colorado number, so obviously spoofing. But his accent sounded African, maybe Nigerian but I'm not good with accents. I have filed an FBI IC3 Report which can be found on ic3.gov. I've contacted paypal just to see if they wanted to freeze the person's account. And filed a police report.
