For those who have been to Pig Week, what do you want to share and what do you think a newbie should know?  I just moved to FTL and really hope to immerse myself in the experience.  Thanks

I went years ago. I had a great time. I flew in from Texas and I was by myself so I had to make friends. I may have written a post about it somewhere on this site...
 

Most advice I have would be around traveling for the event but as a local, you probably don't have use for most of that advice. 
 

Other advice:

1. trimix-- they had a trimix demonstration and where you could try it. I loved it. Me and so many others were rock hard for so long. Made fucking on the dance floor amazing. I felt like I was at prom...except all gay and we were making out and fucking instead of dancing.

2. gang bang lottery: so fucking hot to watch but do NOT enter the raffle if you are an amateur. Those pornstars will not be gentle at all and they pretty much start with DP. This lottery is for expert bottoms. 
 

3. Bathhouse events: there's usually a bathhouse listed on the schedule every night. I went for 2 of the nights and one was really fun and busy, the other was dead af. You may need to ask the locals which nights are better.

4. Absolutely no one went to the event on the beach. I went and I was cold the whole time. 
 

5. the pool parties are fucking great. 
 

6. the big dick society measure in was one of my fav parties even though I wasn't large enough to become a member. 
 

7. bring your own supplies: lube, poppers, wipes for cleaning up, etc. Most of the events have clothes checks so you'll want to have a Fanny pack or socks or something to help you carry your stuff. 
 

8. this is a great event for all of your fav gear: jocks, harnesses, cock rings, socks, masks. I had so much fun wearing and getting fucked in my gear so don't be afraid to get creative (themes and colors)

9. speaking of colors: hanky code rules don't really apply but it seemed like people still followed the rules for red (fisting) and yellow (piss).

10. have fun. Be respectful. Don't yuck anyone's yum and find ways to participate. It's a party, not a museum meaning:  no pointing and gawking, no photos. Jump in there and touch some genitalia.

My third time: my tips. A) stay close Wilton Drive if dont wanna pay too much ubers. B) SHARE budget ( hotel/housegust) is so much better than a Airbnb with company. Im open to share if u like.  C) take PREP before. 90% bareback actiob. D ) Open your mind. Dont take personal if someone reject u. There are so many types of guys that week to choose. E) DONT USE DRUGS. Unfortunely i saw guys on the floor twice. Tske care of yourself
