Searching for own content.

I've been planning to come back on here and write more stories and posts etc..... but want to be able to see my content I've already posted. (I want to make sure the new experiences ive had sound distinctive compared to previous.).

Is there a way to find my old posts in a threat / topics? (I've tried searching by author, or by a title I remember, but I just get no results.)
