How to ask questions?

Ok looking for some advice.  I normally only douche when I have something planned or going / doing somewhere where im hopeful. When its a last minute thing  or a quick meet / app connection how do you broach the subject?

Basically how do you ask whether you need to douche or not? Or how to make it clear that you haven't without it being awkward? Whens the right time?

As a top, if I'm doing something totally spontaneous, I usually wonder as much.  I'll tell a guy that I don't "expect" anal on a first meeting.  He'll often come back a variation on one of two responses:  1) "Oh, I'm really, really looking to get fucked," or 2) "I can't wait for you to breed the back of my throat."  If it's #1, I'll obliquely mention it, like "OK, I didn't realize you were ready now!"  I haven't explicitly asked whether he's douched and he hasn't needed to tell me he hasn't.  Now, could he have not gotten the hint?  Sure, that's just a professional hazard 🙂

Avoiding awkward moments just helps put both of us at ease and makes for a more fun evening (or half hour.)
