I'm around a little earlier than you (mid-July) and wondering whether to stay at Axel or Don Miguel. What did you base your decision on?

Just went with price tbh. Stayed at DM last year and it was good, can’t speak for Axle tho

Planning to be there first week of October. So many places I want to hit. Maybe staying at the Basement. Would love to get any tips from you.

I personally prefer apartments in complexes with easy access over the hotels. I like having visitors come to my door 😈 At Axel and some other places you always have to go through the reception so TBH I don’t get what all the fuzz is about? I’d rather just stay at a quiet hotel where guys visiting can just walk up to my door no problems…

In Axel now, must say disappointed big time, reception staff is not very friendly, and what they charge in the rooms for drinks is beyound all believe.  It is An appartement they charge you even for the use of kitchen cleaning tools like sponge and cloth.

There are beter places in playa del Ingles or Maspalomas.  Last year was a a Four bungalow complex with swimmingpool, the owner is only there on arrival of leaving, and doping some maintenance work
