So true.  The parties were eventually held at Bose Buben and then Untertage, with the large parties, which occurred during big gay event weekends, held at Connection club.

I also remember having to send in a confirmation of being poz, or at least being aware it was a poz party, then receiving an e-mail from the organizer that contained party details.  

I find your comments about the gawking tourists interesting, as though I still immensely enjoy Berlin, I too have noticed a gradually increasing number of that type of tourist attending certain events.  I truly hope the “not here to actually do anything” trend does not eventually ruin the Berlin scene.

I certainly hope so. 
One thing I noticed is that the centre of sexual gravity is slowly shifting to Spain. "Barecelona", Madrid, Torremolinos and Gran Canaria, have more appeal to me than Amsterdam or Berlin. 
This coming weekend I am going to a private poz party in Barcelona. By invitation only, bring your own drinks and supplies. Poz only. No prep. Tasp ok. no hard drugs. poppers and weed ok. ID and Liability release form to sign (in Catalan LOL). Expected attendance: some 50 men.

Sounds exciting. It has been some time since I have been to Barcelona and Madrid, have yet to make it to Gran Canaria, though acquaintances have said good things about it
