I doesn't seem that long ago where I believe that most guys preferred or even demanded safe condom fucking.  Bareback fuckers were a minority.  Fast forward to 2025 and it seems like the numbers have flip-flopped.  Maybe it's a change in culture, maybe it's the map type instant hookup sites.  Or maybe it's because of prep.  I mean, do you ever see condoms being used in gay porn?

Yes, I have noticed that.

Me personally have no issues with it (can get fucked or fuck someone with condom), but it is inconvenient, to say at least. Last time I fucked a boy with condom and when he came from it (to my mouth) we headed to shower, we cuddled a little and then it somewhat evolved to round two. No condom there so no dick up ass (it would somehow negate using condom first time) so he made me cum other ways..

Usually younger folks tend to skip condoms completely. Some went berserk when I insisted.. It was like: 'Will fuck you without it or I won't fuck you at all.' 

The reason, I think is that HIV is now manageable. One straight friend told me he don't care, cause people are not dying from it like before (his remark was that he still could live till retirement if he became poz).

Before the AIDS crisis guys fucked without condoms mainly because condoms were to avoid pregnancy. I took loads in saunas, YMCA, and dark rooms, but not because of culture. It wasn't even known as bareback. It was called getting fucked. 

I remember the first time a guy at the YMCA in Toronto pulled a condom to fuck me. I found it outrageous that he would do such thing.

Suddenly, everyone stopped fucking for a little while or got into relationships.  But then, in the 1990's barebacking started to appear again

The drug cocktails started to appear in the 1990's and it was then when I went back to barebacking and taking anon loads But it wasn't because of culture, but now risk of HIV infection had been reduced because many guys were now Undetectable.
