Prep and Privacy?

here’s my question. I understand hippa and all. My question is, if i get prep through a clinic nearby will my PcP find out. She is my family doctor and i know she wont say anything but i dont want it on my med list if i go to the hospital for some reason. i do not want my emergency contact to find out. Any advice?

From what I have annectodaly heard, Rxs are shared across medical systems.

It's my understanding this is done so if you go to ER they can see anything that might have a bad reaction with what they want to give you.
