Chuckybb Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago I was in a sauna in Mexico and I went into a cabin with a guy. He said to me, wait, are you neg? I said yes, I'm on prep which is true. He said I'm neg but not on prep yet, so I wanted to make sure. So, firstly... Does he truly think that someone is going to tell him the truth? Secondly, I might think I'm neg but may not be. This was a sauna for gawds sake. One of the things I love about prep and the medication for hiv is that we are back to a level playing field again. Almost noone talks or needs to talk about status. But, let's try and keep a bit of realism in the conversation when it happens. Quote
ballerva Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago If I'm on a barebacking site (like BBRT) and I see neg4neg, I find it incredibly offensive. First of all, lots of "neg" guys probably have no idea what their status is, so it's delusional to think that they are "safe" to fuck. Secondly, the overwhelming majority of poz guys are on meds and undetectable, so U=U is a total reality. Being undetectable myself (and going for complete checkups every four months) people like me are probably the safest guys to fuck with. I've blocked countless "negative only" profiles on bareback sites. 1 1 Quote
