Never took meds in last 5 years since my conversion in Montreal from a German guy. I know him very well and I am still in touch with him and we meet every year.

However, on Dr. advice I was due to start medicines and now I am on Biktarvy. It's been 10 days now. No known side effects as yet. I will be achieving hopefully by the holidays.

Just wondering, what prompted you to start on meds?  I know you said it was your doctor's advice but why did he advise you to start meds; were you having HIV-related health issues?
