"Like Old Times"

PART ONE 

[walking in the door]

Josh: [slurring] Shit little bro, I haven't drank this much in a long time.

Max: Well it's not every day that our sister gets married. I had a lot of fun with you tonight. 

J: Yeah it was like growing up before I went off to college and shit. 

M: It's too bad Molly and the kids couldn't come. 

J: Yeah, well I love my family but I gotta be honest with you. It's nice to have a break. No one on my ass to repair things after a long day of work. No cleaning up the messes of ungrateful kids. Enjoy single life. You're the last one of us now.

M: Yeah, I don't see myself settling down any time soon. 

J: [examining the room] Fuck, they only gave us one bed. 

M: Mom probably clicked on the wrong room when she made the reservation for us. I can sleep in that chair.

J: No way! This bed is big. And we shared a room for years. Like old times, right?

M: [approaching the bed] Okay, thanks. Well, I'll take this side. [Starts to lie down and pull the covers back.]

J: I know I'm shitfaced right now but...are you really gonna sleep in a tux? I'm getting comfortable. Join me. [starts stripping off layers of clothing]

M: Ha ha. Yeah, good point. [Stands back up, faces away from Josh, and takes everything off but his underwear. Turns back around to get in bed.

J: [totally naked getting into bed] You don't have to be shy, little bro. We used to take baths together.

M: [turns around and can't help but scan his brother's body] Okay, fine. [Quickly removes underwear and gets under the covers.]

J: Well, good night, Max. It was fun being with you today.

M: [silent, staring at the ceiling, deep in thought]

J: Uhh, earth to Max! You in there, buddy?

M: [startled] Oh uh...yeah. Sorry, was just having a random memory.

J: [turns on his side to face Max] Oh yeah? Do tell.

M: Well...umm...do you remember that game we used to play as kids...I think we called it Honeymoon?

J: We played a lot of games when we were kids.

M: Yeah but this one was different. Remember, you'd take a ring off our sister's nightstand and slip it on my finger. Then you'd kiss me and...

J: [laughing] Yeah kids do some dumb shit. Like sometimes my boys will...

M: [turning to face Josh] ...We did this a lot. And then we'd pretend our bedroom was a hotel...kinda like this one. And you'd pick me up and carry me over on your bed and...

J: I really gotta get up early and we're fucking drunk. Good night, bro. [turns away from Max]

M: ...We'd pretend it was our wedding night and we'd have sex. Like not pretend but real sex. I'd suck your dick and then you'd fuck my ass. You said we were making a baby.

J: [long pause] That was a long time ago.

M: Well it doesn't have to be. You said this weekend is like old times. 

J: [turns back around in bed to face Max] What are you trying to say?

M: [quickly leans in and kisses Josh, then pauses] I'm sorry, I shouldn't have...

J: [passionately kisses Max back, then smiles] It's about time you made the first move.
