I'm exactly the same. Another reason is that from roughly thirty onwards, the human body begins to show the signs of aging. Many guys no longer feel comfortable (if indeed they ever did), being seen in public wearing only trainers and a pair of speedos. The addition of some leather waistcoat; lycra bodysuit, or rubber chaps, helps to hide the signs of aging.

In my opinion, older play mates are generally more:

• experienced;
• knowledgeable;
• patient;
• understanding;
• supportive;
• prepared;
• considerate;
• polite.

In addition, if they cancel a session, they are far more likely to bother to tell you, rather than leave you waiting (all dressed up and no one to play with) and can actually hold a decent conversation.

The shallowness / narcissism of youth with its focus on the body beautiful no longer applies.  Bodies display signs of aging; of having lived a real life.

The only trouble with retaining my preference for older guys, is that as I've aged, the pool of guys  that are older than me, shrinks year on year. Eventually, I will have to turn around and consider younger guys..... but not just yet!
