The LeatherLife isn't about the hides - the gear is only an outward manifestation of the Heart that beats underneath the hides. Every word reflects nothing but Respect, Honor, Faithfulness, Honesty and Light back to the Man that composed this brief but illuminating statement. The LeatherLife isn't for every man, it's for Special Men. Real LeatherMen never tear a sub down, assuming they have the wherewithal to "rebuild" the sub. Real LeatherMen always and unfailingly start with the attributes a sub already possesses, and then builds a boy UP to his greatest potential. What that turns out to be ranges widely, and there is nothing off but dishonesty off the table. That said, if you're ever in a strange place, need help, find a true Leatherman and you'll get the help you need.
