My BCBS is $40.00 for a 90 day supply, but I have to go through mail order and can't do the brick and mortar store otherwise it pays 70 percent of the retail and I'd pay somewhere around $480 a month. It makes sense because insurance requires a test ever 90 days. I also have a gay doctor and have a standing order for my labs so I can walk in any time. As long as they are ok, he automatically refills. If you have insurance and are considering going on PrEP, do your homework and call your provider to see about the best way to do it. -
My Doctor did a viral load test, which amplifies the amount of HIV DNA in your blood stream so that it can be measured. It's the most accurate test and when guys say they are undetectable this is what is measured. Takes about three days for the viral load count to come back from the labs. If its a confirmed negative along with the antibody test you can start PrEP immediately. My doc (gay) said I should anticipate about a week of being on PrEP before fully protected. Need to get the drug into your system.

Started PrEP earlier this year, but have only taken loads from people I know. Any advice for releasing my inner whore? I have no problems as a bb top, but want to be more adventurous as a bb bottom. Fully vers but can't make the leap to random hookups yet. Thoughts?
