Well, there's the second shot done; and I want a third - watching young national guard guys and uni students in the prime of life - I almost wanted to say: "Sure, you can help; just drop your pants..." to the guy who checked my details after mine (tall, thin dude with a beard; lanky and not muscular).

I get the same with "won't meet smokers" wtf?..... LOL....... Will eat my hole, breed n felch me but won't meet smokers.... Cmon seriously.... Its sex not sharing smokes..... Just get ur dick up me.

There are various reasons not to meet smokers: some really dislike the smell of smoke; some might not want to get the smell of smoke on their clothes to avoid the "where have you been" questions....human smell isn't as great as many other creatures on the planet but it does exist and what turns one person on, turns another person off and if there's anything I've learned in life is that desire is completely illogical 🙂

  3. I don't mind a minimal number of questions; and given the number of "bots" [of the robot kind sadly] out there, flakes and let's face it, plain dishonest people; so one or two questions just to see that I'm not a robot seems fair to me.

I'll usually get annoyed if they'll ask me questions I've already answered in my profile (hello, what are profiles for!!!) but something like, "Hi, how are you?", "What are you looking for?" and general banter is actually good (because it also helps ME figure out if they're an advertisement robot and such).

Like BootmanLA just above, if they're on something which has a time setup or a party setup or they've posted a time/location and then they say: "Oh I don't like [whatever they don't happen to like about you]", I wish they'd not waste my time (see my comment about what are profiles for...or in this case the description of ads/wanted party attendees etc).

  4. "We know what his face looks like [and hence who he is because he was silly enough to get identified in national news media]" - won't fuck him.
"We're in a dark room, let's fuck some arse" - it could have been him (or any other random closeted racist homophobe).

PEOPLE including those who wish to kill others can look sexually attractive to others. That's how the real world works - whether we like it or not.

  5. In a dark room, if you're bent over or lubed (with anything), as far as I'm concerned you want dick in you - I won't fuck you with a condom but if other tops want to, that's their choice. If you want to negotiate condoms, do it in a more appropriate place, in my opinion.

  6. Full text searching, if you're using the right tool for the job (and an SQL server of any description is usually the WRONG tool for that job even though they CAN do it...just not as well as something like Lucene / Elastic Search / Apache Solr or one of the document DBs) can be surprisingly efficient and fast; I did mention I can understand the rationale behind delay (or to be more precise, the various rationales - I suspect there is more than one)...

Another way to say what I really mean is: it is difficult to reorder results -- and the EASIEST solution to that might be to add a ORDER RESULTS BY: [relevance, date, poster name] drop down on the search screen itself (so if you don't want it ordered by relevance, you can choose date up front and not have to change it again).

  7.

When one searches there is sometimes or all the time a 15 second delay; I understand why this would be so but changing the search from "relevancy" to "date" uses the same search terms but issues a different order by ... and gets hit by the same 15 second delay.

It seems that the default results are sorted by relevancy but sometimes date (newest first) might be the best results which gets hit by...the 15 second delay which seems to reset the timer.

TL;DR I can get into a loop of hitting a 15 second delay when all I want to do is reorder the results.

  8. I'm not large and I know it; I know I get larger if I like the guy I'm fucking (because guys have told me that) and I actually prefer a loose arse to a tight one.

It really doesn't matter to me what the bottom is saying unless they're using a stop word or are obviously uncomfortable but I'd find someone telling me that I'm huge or large or big was slightly odd 🙂

  9. As a friend of mine knew, if he didn't want a long fuck, just get up on all fours and be tight enough to grip my skin so that my head goes in and out of my foreskin into bare arse 🙂 Or cum while I'm fucking him ... basically if you want me to cum fast do something that'll make me cum fast (including...say, saying something about it).

  10. I don't particularly like condom porn but will watch it depending on my mood; the thing that always annoys me is "magical condoms" (i.e. condoms that just appear out of nowhere).

I honestly suspect if condoms could just be "magically applied" and not require unwrapping, unrolling, lubing etc. etc. then some people - not necessarily the audience on this site, of course - might be more inclined to use them.

Just for the record. "PrEP" refers to the protocol, taking Truvada/Descovy, using condoms to prevent STIs and getting the regular Bloodwork.   Yes... Taking the Truvada/Descovy will give upwards of 99+% protection.

In my HIV outreach work I will frequently run into guys who, while wearing condoms 99-100% of the time, they are still worried about contracting HIV. Maybe a condom broke one time, maybe there's a GF or wife in the picture. There maybe numerous reasons that an individual would want to take "PrEP" and use condoms.

There is enough shaming in our community already. Lets not further shaming fellows who may have a reason to "wear the seatbelt even when the car has an Airbag"

All your points are valid but I didn't intend to shame anyone - in which case, I probably expressed myself in a way that implied that even if it wasn't my intention. It is quite possible to see no point in doing something without necessarily imputing shame on those who happen to be doing that something.

It might be better said that I am aware that people might use condoms to protect against other STIs or to comply with the definition of PrEP as you stated. However, from my personal perspective, I'm not sure the potential side effects of long term drugs such as Truvada/Descovy (and their various proprietary/generic names) vs regular condom use, which they are doing anyway, would be. That is to say, is the long term side effect of taking Truvada/Descovy outweighed by slight chance that one might catch HIV through regular condom use?

Personally, I don't think it is!

However, others can think differently and in reality they need to think for themselves.

  12. I can't see why someone would take PREP and then not fuck BB - it makes no sense to me at all; it's not as though PREP has no side effects: it's just that its side effects are probably less than those of contracting HIV (and especially if that progresses to AIDS and final death). I really feel like saying to someone I know who is a bottom only, who takes PREP but insists on condoms (which means no anal with me! Hah!): "If you're so paranoid about being fucked and getting HIV then why don't you just, well, not get fucked or fuck completely? It's even MORE impossible to get anything anally if you DON'T DO anal..."

  13. I was going through a stage where I wouldn't let my +U friend -- or at least the friend who is + who didn't give HIV to me -- fuck me without a rubber and one night I'd gotten drunk and wanted a booty call. I was drunk enough not to notice the rubber (which he was wearing) and enjoying myself 'cos it was a long, long fuck even for him and eventually he says, "Let me take it off."

And I just kept on saying no. Eventually, though, he complained, "Well, I can't cum" and begged me to let him take it off; so he did.

I faked being annoyed at him but it wasn't long before I just didn't ask him to rubber up again.

  14. I've been around the various bareback communities to have seen people "want to get HIV" (or rather AIDS) and become wasted, spread the disease and so forth during times when it was unclear if the disease were treatable and the emerging treatments were (like chemotherapy) at times almost as bad as not being treated. I'd be surprised if there were not some people (or community) if you will who wants to get COVID - there are some around these boards who at least profess to want other diseases, usually STIs/STDs, actively.

I'm no medical or other type of doctor but I'm not convinced that a life time regime of any of the HIV treatments given to a population that didn't need them would not affect them adversely - another way of saying, I'm sure that we might survive longer if we didn't take HIV medication if we didn't need to do so. Or, another way: retrovirals etc. might stop the onset of AIDS [which is not a great way to die, not that any ways to die are great] but I wouldn't take them expecting no ill side affect; they're not placebos.

That said I'm as human as everyone else but sometimes hearing the "We should protect ourselves from COVID" against the "Oh, please I want HIV" just makes my "Huh, that's completely discordant thinking!" gong in my head.

PS. I'm not sure if this is a new topic or on topic but it's been niggling at me during this pandemic.

  15. Back in the day I had really long hair and I don't act fem but nor am I overtly butch; so I go to the Laird to check things out - and I'd had a huge dispute with the group I was with. So I get there with them and head off to the men's and the bar tender says, unbeknownst to me, "We don't let ladies in here." My friend said: "You'll have to tell him that."

I was in such a mood that no-one told me this until years later because I think I would have decked the bar tender and demonstrated that I am a "man" in no uncertain terms.

  16. Given the original HIV/AIDS outbreak didn't doom all gays to death, why would any future one - even with people deliberately going out to get infected by it when it was somewhat known to be at best a slow death sentence...

Sure, lots of people may die but let's not jump to the apocalypse yet - humans have survived: 'flu epidemics, smallpox, TB, the Plague, the various filo viruses (Marbug, Ebola, Ebola Zaire) and they'll likely survive any of the mutant strains of [insert a retrovirus here] that comes along but in the long term - in the short term, it may feel more bleak to those experiencing it.
