Yes - TONS of porn - pictures and video -  on X/twitter.  And yes - getting messages from users asking you to buy their content.  A few years back, of the blue a "porn star" messaged me - and it was just friendly messages for about 2 weeks.  Then he "invites" me to his private website - a paid website.  I declined.  About a week or two later I get an email from twitter saying lawyers had filed a complain against me for unauthorized posting of their clients pictures - yeah, the client was the "porn star" who asked me to join his paid website.  Twitter blocked the posts - and i blocked the "porn star."   

Issue cleared up after 3 days .. no word from support what happened ..

Something happened on twitter i've never run into before and i thought it was important to share - and remind everyone - PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNTS!

Got a message from a user - apologizing for reporting me to X/twitter for scamming him!  Then he says in the message - i'm sorry because i realize it wasn't you it's someone else - and you need to help fix this.

I responded back to him - WTF?  YOU report me - and you realize it's was wrong - and you want me to fix it?  I told him you need to fix this yourself.

He responds back with a copy of an email from X/twitter which bascically says that twitter has suspended me - and If i don't reach out to a twitter employee on Discus in the next 12 hours it will be permanent.  Well I looked up the user on Twitter - and surprise!  The other user account was created on 08/2025 - and he's in Uganda.  AND i never received any message/email from twitter.

I immediately blocked and reported the original sender - and the user in Uganda.

Through the whole thing I'm updating twitter Premium Support - and they get back to me saying - here's how to prevent Phishing and Scamming.

I have NEVER seen a phishing/scam thing like this before!  

I've posted this on X/twitter - but obviously - it applies to ALL your accounts!

MAKE SURE YOU PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT!

1 - create a strong password!
2 - add 2FA/two-factor-authentication to your account!
There are MANY phishing/scam messages on twitter!
Protect yourself so you don't lose access to your account!

Started having tech issues 24 hours ago (Sept 1, 2025 - AM).  At first I couldn't upload a picture or video.  Then I could upload it - but I can't post - the message I get is "internal server error."  Then i realized I can't repost - can't repost my own posts or other user posts.  The only thing I can do is login, logout, read Chat/messages - and respond to Chat/messages.   I got a standard form response .. if you're using the app try using a browser .. if you're using a browser try using an app (I only use a browser - I want to view on my laptop screen - not a small cell phone screen) .. or try using a different browser.  I started on Chrome (my primary), tried Firefox, tried Edge (yes, i'm a Win11 user).  Nothing works.  I replied back and responded point-by-point.  I saw on Reddit and Discus that others are having the same issues.

But i was wondering if anyone here is having the same issues?  

not sure of the size - but - there hasn't been a dick that has popped my "2nd ring" .. yet .. 😆

VPNs are also used for security reasons, right?   so .. they want to take away a security tool?  (no pun intended!)   🙂

What I'm also hearing about X/twitter and the UK/EU .. twitter has not complied with the requirement for positive identification .. instead - anyone living in the affected countries just cannot see NSFW any more .. BUT .. if you pay the fee to twitter to get a blue checkmark - you'll be able to see NSFW that other uses with a blue checkmark post! .. i don't know how long the UK/EU will allow this.   

i've heard from a couple of followers in the UK and EU .. i'm hearing that on twitter - unless you pay for the blue checkmark - you're not going to see any NSFW .. VPN or no VPN .. no NSFW without paying for the blue checkmark .. AND you'll only see NSFW if the account you're looking at has a bluecheck too!  (i haven't been able to verify that yet) .. i don't think this applies in the US yet - cuz i'm still seeing NSFW posts on US guys who don't have a blue checkmark .. 

what I do see is that my UK daily followers have dropped from about 3.9% to 3% in the past week .. and my overall follower numbers from all over are dropping every night .. 

many have said (roughly) stop supporting Musk and twitter .. not that easy to leave twitter .. none of my accounts anywhere are monetized - i make no money, i don't accept tips or gifts .. so i'm not staying for that reason .. but i do mainly repost others to help them get more followers and help them earn more money - for some it's their main source of employment .. so while leaving wouldn't hurt me monetarily - i don't want to walk away from others i've been helping .. 

and the alternatives are slim pickings .. tumblr - they can't make up their mind what they allow or don't allow .. bsky/bluesky has about 37m users now - about 10% of twitter .. and the new imaglr.com has just over 20k followers .. so leaving twitter means i leave a lot of users i've been helping behind .. 

not saying i'm never leaving twitter .. just not right now .. 

Heard from several UK users on X/twitter today - some of them said VPNs aren't working for them.  I sent out messages to some of my UK followers to see if/what affect the July 1 change has done to them.  

So far my UK followers are still running around 3.5-3.9%.

when i was young and just coming out i tended to lean towards older .. older as in 10yr older than myself and up .. now that i'm older - something about a TOPSON fucking'n'breeding me gets my hole extra hungry .. having said all that - i don't have a preference .. 😉 

I was watching (something) on TV .. from what I understood - there's different elements to this .. 

some just want to have the name list released (though whether there is one or isn't clear .. there was .. now there isn't .. who knows) - regardless of who is on it - Dem or Rep - they want the names released so everyone knows who the [banned word]/pedos are.  The problem with that is (from what i understood) there are a LOT of names on the files that have nothing to do with the sex issues - some are just people who met Epstein at some event .. 

2 of his now staff use to spew conspiracy theories - and now they're part of his staff - and are saying "no conspiracies" - no name lists - and it's now a credibility issue

Trump also sometimes says stuff "off the cuff" - and he wanted everything released .. now .. not so much .. and you pull in Bondi who really has to learn how to speak clearly and precisely - and the water muddies .. that and anytime you deal with Trump the water muddies .. 

So .. they've pretty much dug their own holes .. and the very strict/far right MAGAs just want everything released.  And with Trump saying no and making negative comments about them - the party is fracturing .. 

Just my 2 cents .. which is worth nothing cuz i'm not MAGA and to me it's interesting to watch all the infighting .. 

before the internet .. working downtown .. across from the train station is a "newspaper" store .. newspapers, mags, cigs, cigars, etc .. in the back - all open/no curtains - adult magazines .. i bought a couple of gay mags .. paper stock is thick .. printing is so-so .. all b&w .. all solo .. dicks are soft .. no cruising there - wasn't that kind of place - but FUCK i was hooked and went back every so often to see if there was anything new ..

This has happened in Hawaii in the past month.   And it's happening at other entry points in the US.  Just one of the reasons there's a drop in visitors to the US now - all under Trump.

same thing has happened here in Hawaii .. 2 German girls (late teens or early 20s) going around the world - were stopped by customs/immigration .. they were scheduled to stay here for 4 weeks i believe - no room reservations .. they were detained for 24 hours and told the leave the US .. they were told to leave the US - they opted to fly to Japan.

Would this have happened under Biden?  I have no way of knowing.  But I have seen news reports that it has happened at other entry ports in the US - all under Trump.   And there's a big drop in visitors from Canada and Europe now - why?  Trump.
