True, I am assuming. It’s a calculated guess. The majority of prostatic cancers are very slow growing, and I was making the calculations that he would have been told his cancer needed some kind of therapy, whether radiation therapy or chemo.

Now, I am not pulling this out of my tenderest nether regions. My sister was ill for quite some time, before she presented herself at the ER. She had breast cancer that had metastasised to her stomach and liver. I visited her twice, the last time three months before she died, and I saw how debilitating chemo was for my sister, and how she would be confused about details.
