Hey guys, just wondering what brand or natural supplements you have tried for increased sexual health. I'm thinking of doing a cocktail of tribulis, horny goat weed, saw pawmento. Ginseng and ginko. Any others you think might help? Thanks guys!!!

Don't know if any of them will have an effect on testosterone levels - I use Androgel (a prescription), but am switching to an injection, as the peak is so much more fun...

the saw palmetto will be a mixed blessing. it barely does anything at all, n what it does is inhibit 5-alpha-reductase. that enzyme is what cleaves the testosterone molecule (the primary male sex hormone in ur muscles) into DHT (the primary male sex hormone in the rest of ur body, including ur genitals, voice, skin, hair etc)...so when u have less DHT, ur sex drive and sexual potency will go DOWN. further, an increase in pure testosterone u gain as a result will also increase the amount of testosterone being cleaved into estradiol (the primary female sex hormonee in all men, and in women b4 menopause) by the aromatase enzyme, which will only further subtract from ur male potency.

horny goat weed is good, tribulus is bullshit...u'll get a better and more reliable boost in ur luteinizing hormone (LH) (and thus ur testosterone n DHT) from regular long sessions of sex or masturbation. work it, baby!

the ginseng has shown mixed results relative to sexual issues, n ginko is mostly theoretical...i can never digest it tho, i burp ginko for 8 hours after a single capsule. arginine can be useful as well, just dont bother taking it b4 a workout, that theory has been debunked.

yohimbe can also be helpful, but as a stimulant it can be jittery and dangerous to ur health. do ur research n know VERY well what the state of ur own health is b4 u play with that herb in effective doses...it can be unforgiving.

Stimulants don't usually work for me. ADHD brain likes to take stimulants and keep me calm and focused. But will look into it. Thanks for all the info guys!!

I've read that spikes in blood sugar cause a drop in testosterone levels, so if you're looking for natural ways to boost your T, I'd look at cutting out the sweets and simple carbs like bread, potatoes, white rice, etc.

I used injectible testosterone once a week for a couple of years. My doctor persuaded me to switch to Androgel (topical gel applied daily). You get a more steady dose of testosterone that way. Of course you don't get the peak that you get from injectible but neither do you get the low. If you have good insurance testosterone is covered but my co-pay for Androgel is expensive - my co-pay runs me about $40 a month. Injectible is cheaper but I found it awkward to inject it in my ass.

Supplemental testosterone is only a good idea if your body is not producing optimal amounts of testosterone. Too much testosterone will have an adverse impact. A blood test will let you know if your testosterone level is too low. Again, good insurance will cover a blood test for your testosterone level. If you have low testosterone, injectible/Androgel is a godsend. It will absolutely improve your libido. Plus it aids in adding muscle and reducing body fat. For most guys under 40, adequate testosterone is produced by your body. Sometime between 40 and 50 is normally when supplementation is warranted.
