Are your experiences of this site really chilled out? I find it a supportive and friendly site with very few trolls and guys who are happy to just chat and stuff.

We try to keep it 100% flame free and troll-free. The world outside is a mess, and people are judgemental, we try to avoid that here. That does not means that we want everybody to think alike and agree, but that we want people to exchange views in a polite, friendly way. There's a lot of hate and anger around, we do not need another place like that, so we want to offer you a haven, where even if people don't agree with you, you don't feel threatened or bad. I really appreciate to see that we are achieving our goal. But most of the merit is from the users, they make moderating the forums a real pleasure and are kind to each other, understanding of our rules and smart. We could not make this site a great community without great users.

Yup. I enjoy sharing with guys who are starting a journey that I've completed, as well as just being in a place (outside of San Francisco) where fucking raw is accepted as the natural thing it is.
