I suppose the possibility of being filmed in a public place adds to the risk and excitement but it is different in a club or bar. I was in Berlin last year in a well known leather bar and there were two American tourists in the bar with their smart phones taking pictures and filming etc. it was obvious what they were doing and the rest of the guys in the bar just stopped playing. Their behaviour ruined the atmosphere. I'm not sure exactly what happened but they left very suddenly after about 20 mins and suspect that the barman may have asked them to leave.

I would be very uncomfortable if someone were filming me without my consent and I would probably stop what I was doing to prevent any further filming/photographs. You would never know where it might end up and the damage it could cause.
