It is one of the deadliest attacks against the LGBT community in the USA. The 40th anniversary of the attack is next month. Not a lot of people know about it though. Feeling that everyone needs to know the fire, a good friend of mine, Wayne Self, has written a musical about the incident. It will open in New Orleans the same weekend as Pride, June 21 -24.
