NB: this post is only to highlight what I have been wondering, and just written to ask questions and have a discussion. I am not accusing anyone of anything. Assume and you make an ass out of you. But, to hell with it, I am gonna post this anyway, just for the discussion.

I am a big fan of SX Video and after a marathon porn watching session I couldn't help but wonder how strict their serosorting was. I am sure it is flawless (!) but after seeing many of their films, I couldn't help but think that they obviously don't try to make it LOOK very strict. This may be long and boring, but for those interested, this is what I just noticed today:

In "Another Bareback Orgy" there are performers involved in the free-for-all breeding group I (and, I know, MANY others) always ASSUMED were poz. I wont name names but there is a regular Treasure Island Media performer involved and also a guy I have seen take loads from known or assumed poz performers in the past. Because of this I always assumed that the other guys in this particular scene would most likely be poz too - simply because they were sharing holes and cocks and loads with these particular guys. Again just an assumption, but would make sense I suppose.

Then I noticed that one of the other guys in this scene has a separate BB breeding scene with Gabriel D'Alessandro I found online somewhere. This surprised me because i always assumed Gabriel was neg because of the other scenes he has done with Satyr and all the straight porn he's done. For example one of the guys Gabriel fucks raw with for some Satyr scenes is the guy who tops in all those Cum Filled Manhole films where supposedly inexperienced straight boys get filled up on camera. And yes I know its a fantasy and they are unlikely to be straight - but some of those guys really do look quite inexperienced and in pain!! lol

There are two camps in bareback porn. The older camp which assumes everyone is poz, and the new camp which tests everyone pretty rigorously to make sure they're neg. S/X is old school. When the old school folks work with a neg top the question tends to be "the bottom is poz, is that a problem for you?" I'm not sure how they'd handle a neg bottom - my guess is they'd pass.

Jarod Steel to my knowledge became poz sometimes during the years he was most active doing porn. So he started out negative and then at some point became poz not sure if it was from his work in bb videos or if it was from his own private sexual activity. He also got addicted to meth and that may have been a contributing factor in his becoming poz. if you're really curious, go to the websites for the studios and look at the model applications. at least one of them asks about status and serosorting.

First of all, all that talk of "straight guy", "met him on the street", "spontaneously decided to fuck his ass" is usually bullshit. At least there has been some kind of talk, ID verification and signing of some legal documents / waivers. Anything that looks likek coercion or shady dealing on screen is cleared beforehand (just think of baitbus.com, if that was real they'd be in court all the time).

Or do you believe all the drama on so-called reality TV shows like "The Biggest Loser" or any show with Gordon Ramsay is in fact real? No, it's all scripted.

As to the sero-sorting, I can only speak of European porn (I know some German porn producers and fucked the occasional actor), but that is more or less in line with what RawTop said.

Legitimate porn companies usually fall into one of three categories:

1.) Those who work with a lot of young neg guys, because it's their business model (in the US that would probably be Active Duty, Sean Cody or Chaosmen, but I don't know for sure), who do their own rigorous testing (usually they have friendly doctors / labs who will do PCR tests for them).

2.) Those who work with a more diverse set of actors, many (or even most) of whom are poz, who insist on medical paperwork, which can be an HIV / STD test for neg models or in the case of poz actors documentation that they are on meds and of course tests for other STDs. Those producers often do get somewhat involved and serosort.

3.) Others do not get involved. They just have the actors sit down with each other and afterwards have them sign that it's their responsibility and that they've discussed all the pertinent issues.

That can sometimes lead to ironic results, like one neg actor who's only fucking other neg guys for one company, seeding poz holes when working for another one.

Then there is a fourth category.

4.) Amateur and street-hustler porn, where pretty much anything can happen, because no professional looks out for potential legal trouble.

Thanks for replies guys. And yea of course i am more than aware of the fantasy element of porn. BUT it did seem to me SX was/is using known poz models in scenes with guys i have seen fuck known neg models in other scenes. So was just curious. I find the idea that porn studios may put neg with poz hot as fuck, so I aint complaining ;-) as weve seen with Antonio Biaggi, perhaps neg tops on poz btms is more common than I thought.

RawTop - interesting how a lack of strict serosorting is considered "old school". Assumed it would be the other way around - that things have gotten more lax recently over the years. But i just donno how it works.
