Truvada for HIV prevention

Interesting thread. I started on Truvada as a PrEP about a month ago - my main motivation was to decrease my own risk and therefore the risk of infecting my partner with HIV should I contract it. I'm on it as part of a clinical trial in the UK and there are no costs associated with it, but after the 2 year trial there maybe as it's not available on the NHS as yet. They told me the main purpose of the trial is to assess if PrEP as a concept is effective - does it change guys sexual behaviour because they think they're safe? I'm sure it's also about checking side-effects but at the moment it's a chance I'm willing to take. Has it changed my behaviour? I let my ass get passed around darkrooms more than I did before for sure. I've upped my most loads count by 200% but hey, why else would I take it.
