has bareback porn helped barebacking back to aceptable sex practice?

Recommended Posts

would you agree the move to bareback porn, back from the safe sex decade of the 90ies even early 2000, has brought barebacking back to largely accepted sex practice? especially yng twink porn like this (and many other) vids encouraging the young generation of gay men to go for the real raw experience?

I think both barebacking and barebacking porn have to do with the fact that people aren't dying anymore, and that there are options out there like PrEP or, being undetectable and on meds.

I think the frontrunners like Treasure Island and Dick Wadd had a different effect at the beginning. They didn't quite so much 'bring bareback back' as simply keep it alive. Perhaps unfortunately -but honestly, the only way they could survive doing it- was to turn barebacking into a niche/fetish/specialty market.

In many ways, it made mainstream hate them even more, and perhaps even intensified the view that raw sex was the ultimate in deviant behavior. But for their followers, they basically kept the hope alive. I might even go so far as to say that those first bareback films rallied their followers into standing up against what had become, by then, an excessively bland gay porn market.

Interesting to note, when bareback was 'revived' in the late '90s, it was met with scorn and politics. Compare that to the last stragglers of the mid-'80 (like Falcon) who were simply pushed out of the way for continuing to produce bareback and eventually converted to condom usage just to follow the pack.

The more recent 'conversions' (so to speak) like Corbin Fisher, have certainly seen a little controversy... but nowhere near the hate or scorn. It's now seen as a marketing tool, part of supply and demand. More people want it, and those who produce it can make a good buck selling it. Some studios are playing the less controversial side by including lengthy disclaimers about model testing, sero-sorting, and 'don't try this /fantasy/ at home. But even the edgier studios (SketchySex, for example) are still pushing the boundaries... but with FAR less outcry.

And I need to take this opportunity to voice one of my on-going pet peeves. Hetero porn has remained condom-free for the past 35 years, and absolutely nobody ever says anything or even pretends to give a shit. There have been a couple well-publicized 'scandals' where a single performer tests positive and the rest of the industry shits a brick... but then five hours later, filming resumes on the latest quintuple penetration scene where an 18-year-old cheerleader takes on three entire football teams. Anonymously. Multiple-creampie. (and let's be honest, as gay as I am, that is STILL hella fun to watch).

I don't doubt that the hetero porn industry has taken on rigorous testing standards. But they make no apologies for showing bareback. They don't precede every video with a 12-minute long disclaimer. Even after the semi-annual on-set AIDS scare (gays call it HIV, straights still only respond to the word AIDS), there is never anything more than the slightest grumble about controversy, responsibility, or advocacy.

And then there is my FAVORITE... the hypocritical shit-eating studios like KINK. They have gone out of their way to bash bareback porn. They have stated that they will NEVER even consider gay (or trans) films without condoms. Mention the word bareback and they drop their whips to their leather boots and throw their hands up screaming.

Yet...

Their hetero lineup includes women being bareback gang-banged by strangers, in public, then beaten and humiliated. They often feature some of the hottest gay actors who regularly appear in bareback films for other studios (but require them to wear condoms for gay porn, while allowing them to bare fuck chicks). They have even produced several videos of committed gay couples, requiring them to wear condoms.

The lesson they are trying to teach the public is that it is TOTALLY okay to abduct, rape, torture, humiliate and fuck people (I've never seen any 'fantasy' disclaimers about any of that). And if the victim is a female, well then fuck yes, it is totally okay to do it raw and expose her to STDs or pregnancy!! Even gay and bi guys can get away with whatever they want, as long as the victim is a chick.

BUT GOD FORBID, two males are in the same room together... don't care if they're lifelong partners, tested or untested, sero-sorted or a stranger you met in an alley behind the local insane asylum... God will kill a billion innocent kittens with the acid tears of his angels of vengeance if you don't use a condom.

comdom porn didn't stop my craving to be bred and i didn't become an addicted bugchaser because of bb porn either, i

just followed my natural instincts and gradually liberated the cumwhore i was born to be.
