My favourite studio are interested in having me do a scene. I'm nothing special to look at but I think they like my attitude to sex and can see the scene working well on camera.

So can I, and I would love to do this so much. But I have a normal career with a real life and I've no idea what the consequences would be if or once it was known I'd done porn.

I don't really know how to make the decision. It'd be such a thrill and I'd be really proud of having done a scene but I don't know what the result in my real life would be or how I'd handle it.

I don't need to make the decision immediately. Thoughts?

what kind of career do you have? Also what porn studio are you doing porn for? Depending on how major the studio is and also depending on how involved you get into it and what your field of work is you may actually not even have an issue. I've shot professional porn and i've done TONS of amateur videos and they are ALL over the internet and I have never had my work contact me about it. The only issue you would run into is if you got to work for a LARGE company that does background checks and what not. Or if you went into any kind of politics or was a high up account manager or what not. Like I said, depends on the porn company, job, and how far you want to go. If you just do one movie, chances are, no one from your work will see it or even if a few do none will out you.

I would also say it depends very much on what your job in your every day life is.

I think for most jobs it would not be okay to do porn.

Do you work with allot of gay men too. That of course would increase the chances of your porn scene getting out at work. Some queens can be real bitches with something like that on a co-worker. Is your favorite studio a major studio whose releases are blogged about and found on all the tube sites or is it a smaller studio. Also the bigger studios like Corbin Fisher are not as widely found on tube sites becaue they use companies that have thier stuff taken down so that is one thing to consider. If you thinking of working for TIM thier stuff is really out there so your chances of being discovered would be high I would say, and keep in mind your doing that one scene but you also sign over the rights to use images and video from that scene as the studio see's fit. They might be able to sell the rights to someone else down the road who can then put your face on the cover of a compilation DVD.

I know someone who did one bareback porn scene for SX Video when he was younger and it just happened he was the cover guy for the DVD and one night I put two and two together and was like you did porn! He said he kind of regrets doing it now because being on the cover made his appearance that much more noticeable because you see his image as your browsing through video store sites or sites like AEBN.com

The only other thing I would add is once it is out there its out there forever and you have no control over what people do with it. I have seen people take a scene from a porn video and title it PNP poz party or something like that and that is not even part of the content they just title a clip that and there are those who will just believe that even though when you watch the clip there is no proof of either partying with drugs or anyone being HIV+.

@sites5, it very much depends on whether you have balls. Do it!

It can do great things for your personal life, and may even improve your pride in yourself. It may or may not affect your job.

Which is more important? Your life or your job?
