I don't disagree. But I do find that if people sense that you're insecure about something, they often pounce. 

 

I was recently at a leather event and there were some "condom nazis" there. Once upon a time, I would have been intimidated by their rhetoric. Now I'm just like "if you want to use condoms, use them, but I'll be damned if you are going to lecture me because I choose not to. Now run along before I have to put my gold-plated bible in my purse and start swinging."

I don't discuss my sexlife with family...but my friends all know I fuck bare and have sex with others although I'm in relationship. My relationship is open so it's not a problem.
