hungry_hole Posted April 23, 2018 Report Posted April 23, 2018 (edited) Canada has same-sex marriage, legal weed, and now, legal prostitution? While the US moves backwards, Canada moves forward. https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2018/04/17/liberals-sex-work-decriminalization_a_23413749/ When the topic of prostitution is discussed the focus is always on women and how they are victims to men. But what about men who want to make a few bucks? Male prostitutes are not affected by "human trafficking" or by abusive "pimps". So why not make male prostitution legal? Funtime1967 Posted July 16, 2018 Report Posted July 16, 2018 I personally would like sex work be legal here in Canada. I've often thought about earning extra money from time to time.
Guest takingdeepanal Posted March 16, 2019 Report Posted March 16, 2019 It's legal in Victoria (Australia) - but I've known of very few men who make any sort of money from it.
Guest hungandmean Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 Uhh... Not to rain on your parade or anything but there is massive amounts of men who are sexually trafficked from poor European countries where porn like Bel Ami and shit comes from. There was just a big ring in the US that was broken up where the guys were forced to take meth and do cam shows for like 24 hours at a time and had their visas taken. The reason it isn't news is because no one gives a shit about gay people. Furthermore - lots of young gay men are exposed to drugs and pimped out by their abusive boyfriends. Happens ALL the time. Hell the movie King Cobra about Brent Corrigan sort of touches on these subjects. Rentboy, Craigslist, and Backpage etc all being targeted has moved sex work back into the shadows and made it more dangerous.
