onlyraw Posted March 12, 2024 Report Posted March 12, 2024 Well this is not really “politics” but not sure where else to post this as it is not really “back room” material.. as my local NPR station did a story on it, and even AP ran a story this is the 150 anniversary of the invention of the jock strap it was invented in Boston to help the bicycle messengers protect themselves as they navigated the bumpy cobblestone streets of Boston. it was invented by (designed by?) CF Bennett who worked for Bike Athletic so - nice to know that Boston, known normally for being prudish, Did something fun. so gentleman… you can celebrate as you choose… if you choose to tell us how you celebrate this important anniversary (and depending on how you celebrate- and with how much detail you share 😉) perhaps one of the moderators will be kind enough to move this to a back room.
