In terms of lube as we know it, I'm still a fan of water-based. I've never been a fan of silicone lube. It's just too slippery and messy.

If I’m having a big night at a bathhouse, I like a combination. Something like Vaseline lasts for ages, and it works well with silicone lube to make it a little slicker. 

Of course, any lube is best when paired with a few bigs loads.
