Best apps for NYC

Courtesy of a Chrome plug-in, I've convinced sniffles and grind that I'm in town already. I'm surprised at the relatively low number of people online compared to other places I've been. Are Saturday afternoons just bad times, or are people just not using apps?

I just jumped on Sniffies briefly. It will pick up later tonight and especially after midnight.  That said, the action is uptown. Harlem, Washington Heights and The Bronx are pretty busy right now.  They are usually busy around the clock, even on a weekday morning.

Grindr in NYC is currently a time waste and most often used for other illicit activity: theft, substance abuse, and prostitution.

I use Grindr, Scruff, Sniffies and BarebackRT with different degrees of success. Manhunt is complete garbage and at least on Android you repeatedly get signed out

The ads on Grindr are sooo annoying
