I was around 21 in college.  This would be in the mid-80s.  I had a long term girlfriend who later became my wife. I think I was around 12.  I snagged a VHS that turned out to be a multi feature compilation of films from the late 70's to early 80's.  When I got to the third title, I was greeted with a story about a " naive " teen girl being lead through a building with a menagerie of sex on display. In Seattle - there was a porn production company (can't remember what it was), there were the SeaBoys, and there were the independent guys.  All very vanilla and in their off time were exactly like what you describe @NWUSHorny in that other thread.  All of us worked at the tech companies, but it was before the video internet so you could actually do porn then go and be a software developer or whatever.  I worked in tech to but sexually, us misfits hung out at Basic Plumbing (RIP), Club Z, and even Steamworks.  There wasn't much crossover between the two populations.  Very different groups of people that never really intersected.  I never understood it.
