Yep I did it in Florida quite a bit but I usually gave them a dollar and they seemed happy with that.  If they lingered a little longer I knew they were interested in playing at some point in my stay.   At least you get lube, I usually got one very small, generic condom.  What a waste....

I think this can be called a kink of sorts. And I have done it any number of times in a fair few places here in the UK.

I don't remember ever having an attendant escort me to my room or locker in a bathhouse, but I've never been to one in either NY or FL. Maybe that is an easy coast custom.

All of the bathhouses where I've fucked the staff have a rule against having sex while they are working for obvious reasons, it doesn't mean they don't do it occasionally. I have even fucked managers while they were supposed to be working. The only one I know of that has a more stringent rule is Steam PDX where employees aren't allowed to hookup at the facility on days they have a scheduled shift.

Well at Vault in london I think the rule was a permanent no. If you worked there, you couldn't even come on your day off for fun. At least that's how I understood it. That seems pretty draconian, most of fuck venues let their employees empty their balls or get their holes flooded before or after they clock in. It's not unusual for the front desk guy to volunteer "I'm off at X time if you are still around," to a customer he knows. I've had them do it to me, as well as heard them tell a guy in front of me in line.

Yes that's my understanding of most venues too. In the UK it's perhaps a bit less open - like no one would ever say "I'm off at X" while you're standing in line to get in, it'd be more an approach in the corridor or changing rooms etc - but yes that seems to be the general rule. But at Vault, it was always secret, rushed, furtive, urgent, watchful. Just wait in the dark I'll be there but gotta check no one sees me etc. Which of course is a hotness all of its own, but you're right, it seems pretty draconian.
