After reading a discussions about condoms in porn, I wonder:

When, if ever, does a barebacker use condoms?

For me, the answer is a simple "never." Covering a dick during sex -- as a top or bottom -- feels contrary to nature and common sense. Sex with condoms is not any kind of sex that I want to have or even watch in porn.

I don't judge anyone who uses them. To each his own. I can believe that there are guys who enjoy sex with rubbers just as much as I enjoy sex without rubbers.

But I am curious about why or when anyone who enjoys bareback sex would ever use condoms.

If you're single, do you use them unless or until you feel it's "safe" not to use them with someone? How do you decide when that time is reached?

If you're in a monogamous relationship, do you feel "safe" barebacking with your partner? If you're in an open relationship, do you bareback with your partner but use rubbers with other guys?

If you do use condoms, what brings you to a bareback web site? Curiosity? Fantasy? Something else?

If I am in a dark room and the pickings are slow and all I can get is a fuck with a condom I am fine with it. If they use the cheap condoms that are there for free they suck, but I always carry lube with me. Some guys bring their own condoms and the good ones are very thin and slide in easily and sometimes you can't feel them. If I am with a regular fuck buddy and he feels horny and I didn't clean up before hand I would offer a condom or sex in the shower or both.

I'll confess...I won't get fucked without a condom except by my partner (to protect him). When I was escorting many years ago, I would routinely use condoms in order to protect my clients, some of whom were married and had families. A few requested bareback sex with me and I happily agreed. I was still testing negative at the time, but barebacking in my "recreational" sex. When you're an escort, you need to place the interests of the client ahead of your own.

I think it's also legit to use a condom if you're going to be appearing in porn (and I know I'm kind of on thin ice with this one). Again, the interests of your employer ought to trump your own.

There have been a very few cases where there was a guy who was so hot and that I wanted so badly that I allowed the use of a condom. But that's very rare. Mostly the use of a condom is a dealbreaker for me.
