Reflections on Phuket

I just had my first visit to Phuket having previously been to Bangkok a dozen times and once each to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Pattaya.

I stayed at  Kamala Beach one night and the other 7 nights at Patong. Although I fucked every day I think it was a mistake tourism-wise to have stayed at Patong so long, I found Phuket town much more interesting but it was a 30+ minute hair-raising motorcycle taxi ride away.

Sex wise it was easy to find fucks in Patong. Although I had much the same experience in Bangkok. I used Grindr and Hornet with equal luck on both. BBRTS didn’t yield anything. Most guys did bareback. One guy who insisted I on a condom was happy to bareback a second time we hooked up without even raising the topic. 

I didn’t want to pay for sex. This was a problem in Patong especially as my hotel was in the heart of the gay area which mainly involved sex-for-pay whether on the apps or at massage parlours, clubs or bars. I tried to screen out money boys with a ‘no MB’ on my app but it was a constant battle to the satisfaction of neither party. I was happy to pay token travel money in a few cases. Guys looking for paid sex will have a good time in Patong but it is back to Bangkok for me next time.
