I definitely feel the ring and, as I mentioned, if I'm fingering a guy I can feel the prostate.  In my experience -- and maybe I'm doing it wrong -- most guys aren't super into being fingered.  They don't HATE it but it doesn't get a big reaction either way so I quickly move on to something that does.  I suppose that makes sense; my finger isn't as filling as my cock -- or fist, for that matter.
