On July 7th I bottomed for a guy in the park near my house. He was on BBRT. I didn't read his profile thoroughly. As I pulled my shorts up, I just said, oh btw, I am hiv- and std free. He just said oh, yeah and then something I didn't hear. This weekend I got totally sick. Throwing up, diarrhea, soar throat, pounding headache, runny nose and a temp of 100°.  Today is the 29th. I found his profile again and when I read it thoroughly, it says he is poz. I messaged him and said I was fine if he was poz, I just wanted to know if I need to get tested. He just ignored my email and blocked me.

You should get tested, but it could be anything. Not sure where you’re located, but there has been a nasty cold/flu bug going around here in the PNW.

Definitely get tested but prepare yourself for the results. If you were not looking to convert and think you may now be HIV+ make sure you have a support network in place to help you deal with this emotionally.

The risk of taking anon random cock at the park…I’ve done it countless times, I’ve gotten sick with similar symptoms, test and turned out to be fine…just was a coincidence of catching a nasty flu.  Fingers crossed, it’s just that. However, the fact he was poz doesn’t necessarily mean he was toxic, but contrarily he could have been very toxic.  Blocking you is lame, I guess you weren’t meant to know. It sort of comes with the territory of taking anon cock at the park.  Feel better soon.
