I live in rural Ireland. There are no saunas and very few cruising spots here. The only way to realistically hook up is using apps. These have, at least, made it possible as in the past it was VERY difficult to meet guys. However, the amount of responses where men don't read my profile before messaging drives me nuts.

My profile; Easy going masculine, versatile gay guy. Good hygiene and expect same. No bottom only guys and no guys into cross dressing (No offence intended just not my thing) Can travel CANNOT accommodate. 

Seems fairly fucking simple. Had 27 replies between Thursday and this morning. 19 were from guys who are bottom only. 16 of which can't accommodate AND are bottom only. 12 of these have profile photos of them wearing dresses, suspenders and stockings or panties. Additionally, 4 more can't accommodate. 

Do guys not read profiles? Drives me fucking nuts!!!

Your profile is too long for gay apps. Its a 12 second read which is WAY TOO LONG.

Most guys (on apps) have a reading comprehension attention span of between 3 to 5 seconds.

OF COURSE they can read.  They just think that the comments don't apply to them.

When I was young, I relied on old fashioned personal ads in these things called newspapers 🙂  I stated that I wanted guys under X years old (i.e. my age range.)  I couldn't believe the number of responses that started "I'm 64 but look and act much younger."  Now that I'm much closer to 64 than 24, I'd like to think I'm not like those guys.

Similar for me, so I travel nearly 1.5hr for the nearest regional sauna for a monthly fuck fest (top/vers/btm). How are far you from Dublin or Belfast?

I was monogamous with my wife for much of the era in which hookup/dating apps emerged. My female friends would complain constantly about how awful men were - I didn’t disbelieve them, but I was puzzled - I couldn’t conceive of people behaving that badly.
 

Then I got divorced and started using the apps and I get it (to my dismay). So many men feel entitled to sex/having their needs met. It’s just awful. I just discovered Sniffies has a limit of 500 blocks. I know this because it’s giving me a warning that I’m close to my limit!  Haha.
