When did you know you were a domtop? (and Young Twink Total Dom Tops are a thing?)

QUESTION:  If you're a dom top / total dom top - when did you first identify this and began to play that role sexually?  What age?  How'd you discover it?

Background:
A few weeks ago, at a birthday house party, I met this 21-year-old super clean cut twink.  The majority of the people there were at least late 30s so he kinda stuck out and I know 90% of the people there were in full lust.  He and I ended up getting introduced to each other because he's studying molecular biology and my friend (who's birthday it was) remembered that I had too, so thought we should at least meet.  Really smart kid, we chatted for quite a while about science and other shit.  21 is not really my target demographic so I was not trying anything or interested - training and breaking in tends to take a lot of energy - so I wasn't like "oh he's hot" it was more "he's smart, articulate, interesting."

We broke from our group and walked to where the drinks were and he said "what do you like to do?" and I assumed he meant hobbies until he followed up with "what are you in to" in the same sentence and I asked him what he meant.  I told him I was not expecting that question at all and that I could show him my list, but it was probably way over his head and would scare him.

Anyway, he looked, wasn't shocked, i wasn't feeling like we shifted in to sexual mode, and then he spits out "I'm a total dom top" and i laughed.  Turns out he wasn't kidding.  He showed me one picture which unmistakingly supported his domtop'ness.  We went back to the group, but later when I was going to leave we exchanged numbers.   Haven't heard from him until tonight.

He just said "let's find a time to get together soon" and we shared some available times in the coming few days and we found a time to meet for a drink.  I then mentioned the impact of the PA upsizing and he just responded, "Well, Wednesday doesn't have to be the last time he meet up."  Will keep you updated.   I'm not saying I wouldn't have sex with him, though he's kinda too good looking/twink for my taste...but I'm trying to imagine myself (age 46) getting domtopped by a 21 year old twink.  It makes me laugh and I'm not sure I wouldn't laugh while it was happening.

We're booked for the drink.  I'm not worried about having sex with him or not.  I think at 21 what I knew about myself was that I liked dick, didn't really have a type or worries about poz/neg body type age etc. and was way above average participant in sex.  I don't think I was capable of declaring myself a "total dom top."  So that's my questions.

With the dude, we'll fuck, we won't fuck, it's not that big a deal to me.  🙂
