I wouldn’t say hotter but rather more exciting. 
I prefer regulars because they almost never disappoint me and I can avoid endless chats. 
Randoms can make you disappointed because sometimes they lied about themselves, their appearance or preferences. In worse cases they just disappear. On the other hand they can offer the excitement of exploring something new. 
Sometimes you simply can’t choose because you are far from your regulars. This happened me with here, in Finnland. I spent here 3 nights, I met random guys every night. Two of them were better than nothing, felt pretty with them. The third one was amazing.

I agree with many of the others.  I dont think either is hotter than the other  They are just different.  Random is incredibly exciting and makes me feel like a true slut and cumdump.  But FB are in a way more enjoyable and relaxing because each understands the other.  There is no need for any chit chat.  And by the very definition, a fuck buddy you have the ability to fuck on a consistant basis.  Not wondering if you will find someone.

But as another poster said, I am in a relationship with a dom.  So in a sense a lot of my fucking is random, even with FBs, because he decides when and who can fuck me.
