I knew it! I am suspicious of Mateo, seems he has a bit of a dark side and he has an unfortunate situation which could lead to bribery or other means to help resolve his situation, especially if the one doing offering Mateo help is another high power person from a foreign government involved with Felipe.

After long work hours I can finally come back to reading your amazing story @losolent.  Catching up and I am just in awe.  You bring these characters alive and I feel like I have known them all my life.  I loooooove that you finally revealed the Victoria tiara hehehe and I love how you are bringing together all the characters.

I love that Max has accepted where his future is going and I am loving how Sam is growing.  Nick is falling in love and being able to read about how the royal family is so down to earth.  This is sooooooooo amazing and I can’t wait for more.  The world you bring alive through your story just pulls me in.

I will say that Felipe was quite the twist.  I was hoping he would be a good guy, guiding Alex, maybe even becoming a close friend but you do bring forth an all too common aspect of human nature in this last chapter.

Also your foreshadowing is on point, the way you describe Stephanie just made me have a premonition that Alden would become involved some how.  Ohhhhh I am so excited to find out what happens after the ball, Alden and Stephanie’s date, the final meeting with the governor premier, the formal announcement and everything else!

Another fantastic chapter and I cannot thank you enough for uploading it so quickly.  It really made my Valentine’s Day to be able to read and feel the immense love between Max and Alex.

I loved the part of this is Max… oh crap what was your last name hahaha! I know that would be me when I meet the man of my dreams.

Also this chapter did get me thinking about Lady T and her daughter.  If I remember they are suppose to be at the ball so I wonder how that is going to go down.  Will it put Max at ease and he will realize his past is not being severed but his relationship with Alex and being in Monrovia is growing all his relationship.

also so curious about the Victoria tiara hehehe will there be a twist there?  Seems like it could be a subtle recurring element in the lives of the royal family hehehe maybe Max will have to wear it 🤣 one day 🤣

that was what I was thinking as I was nearing the end.  That Lizzie would suggest he take her to the ball.  But then the last few sentences dashed that thought.

I wonder if at the ball Lizzie meets the prince and then see him with another and it gets more complicated.  Maybe Liam or even the King will intervene with Lady Trasilion’s help.  Oh the many paths.

OMG! I am loving this story!  I cannot wait to find out the plan that was laid.  It definitely is not the reunion I was hoping for but the foreshadowing of how Max had been hurt by deceivers in the past ties to how he would react finding out Alex had not told him of his royal title.  This is so great!
