Hey guys, I’m a software engineer frustrated with all the time and BS it takes to find guys for raw, low-standards fucking. There’s kind of a paradox of choice thing happening where NYC is so saturated with gay men (with varying standards, varying expectations, varying abilities to be honest about stats or availability) that even the formerly sluttier apps take a TON of back and forth. I was recently out in the suburbs and it took like three messages and no face pics to get some good dick and hole on Sniffies but it’s hard to wade through all the “daters and laters” here in the city to get that quick result. Anyone else finding this to be the case? Too many normies on cruising and bb apps turning it into endless talk and no action.
Right now I’m using sniffies and barebackrt. Occasionally on Scruff. Grindr seemed like the first to go down this path of chasing growth with really broad appeal, at the expense of utility for quick hookups, and now they all seem to want as many users as possible without considering the experience for making the actual hookup matches.
Would be great to talk over some app ideas that could solve this. Happy to meet up for a fuck (vers, open to all HIV statuses) and see if we can come up with something to match more loads with holes.
