How do you set up for website only contact?

When I post a thread I only want to check online, not receive an e-mail telling me there's been responses. How can you do this, since I find it pointless receiving e-mails telling me someone else has posted something. I'd rather check this for myself.

It's under Settings (top right corner), Then "General Settings" under "My Account" and then "Default Thread Subscription Mode"...

What kind of notification did you receive? I thought I adjusted your settings myself.

Thanks, for your help. I still get Dear DaddyBare, (someone) just replied to your thread you have subscribed to entitled .... This thread is located at ... there may be more replies etc. If I change this to "do not subscribe" would this stop me getting these e-mails?

Changing your preferences only affects what you do after that point. You'll need to edit the "subscriptions" you already have as well. You can go into Settings -> Subscriptions and change them in bulk (well, a bunch at a time - you'll need to go through multiple pages of subscriptions).

I changed your settings, not sure if it'll stop. In any case, yes, unsuscribirn should made it and new posts should not notify you
