After visiting a couple of bathhouses in a few cities, I've noticed the same things, people posing, walking around, chatting/socializing with others, enjoying the facilities, those who just go there because they need a place to relax or calm down for any problem they may be facing. I also see A L O T of attitude, and lots of very very unattractive guys (and I'm not very picky nor the hottest one out there). I have almost concluded that all bathhouses in the USA are like that, and I feel I won't try them anymore, as paying on average $25 to deal with all of that is not a deal, a total waste of money and time, as there's little or no action going on. Maybe I'd try the ones in Europe if someday I go there. Do you feel the same? Wonder if bathhouses are going to disappear soon?

I know what you mean about people in Bathhouses, some places are all action and some are posing places. It has always been hit and miss and it depends upon the day of the week many times. Some sex clubs are better as are sex parties as seems like most guys are actually looking for the action.

I don't foresee bathhouses going away in Chgo. The ones that are here have been around for over 20 years. The provide a release for many men. Yes, they might be expensive but you don't have to get a "room" to enjoy yourself. I did the locker scene for years. The baths also provide entertainment and many of them house different porn venues or contests. They are a $$$ maker.

I understand your point. Bathhouses have certainly changed from what they were 20 years ago when I first started going to them as a 20something myself. Back then we had no Internet or hookup sites. Phone sex lines were there and useful, but you never knew what you were getting until he showed up at your door, so bathhouses were much better for those preferring WYSIWYG

Imma break down bath houses.
