actwickedhumour Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 I'm steadily overcoming reservations but I am curious, what are the worst bits? Are you constantly sick and unhealthy or can you still be active and do everything you normally do ....but with the added benefit of not caring what cum you take? Step by step getting there. Usually take anonymous loads and tell myself its cool as the guy said he was neg but yesterday sucked my first known poz cock and had a facial. next step is swallowing..... But just curious what to expect and how hard it is to manage? 1
Hotload84 Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 "Are you constantly sick and unhealthy or can you still be active and do everything you normally do ....but with the added benefit of not caring what cum you take?" Actwickedhumour, since I have access to good healthcare, including, obviously, the correct pharmaceuticals, HIV has proven more than manageable - if anything, because I see my doctor on a regular basis, I should think I'm in better over-all health than I was before seroconversion. Of course if one has trouble taking one's prescriptions at the prescribed intervals, and if one ignores the advice of one's physicians, the outcome would presumably be significantly different. 1
fillmyhole Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 the disease affects everyone differently, some experience more severe side effects than others. One important factor is, are ALL !!! of my HIV drugs covered by a health plan.. If not ,forget about living a normal life trying to pay for them. An average job will not be enough.. without the drugs you can pretty much bet you will have a fairly young death full of days tat you wish you were dead.. Is it worth it, I presonally say no.. Yes I bareback with select few. Do I long to take any load, yes, but what stops me is the consequence. I don;t jump out of airplanes without a parachute, I don;t play russian roulette with a hand gun , and I certainly don;t rollerblade blindfolded on a busy freeway.. There are alot of things I love more in this world than cum in my ass.. But for those that do love it more than anything else, your priorities maybe different.
actwickedhumour Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 Here in Australia we have pretty good health care, along with my private health cover so meds shouldn't be an issue. I appreciate the honest feedback guys. ;-)
RawPozLust Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 There is no single definitive answer to what it's like to have HIV. Some live quite healthy lives with the virus while enjoying promiscuous bareback sex with no apologies, fears or regrets. Others suffer one terrible illness after another, compounded by poverty resulting from expensive drugs and medical treatments. This why each person must decide for himself how he chooses to live his life and to accept the consequences of that decision. Good luck.

But just curious what to expect and how hard it is to manage? when you say taking anonymous loads....so you mean oral only or anal?? -If you're bottoming and taking loads from guys who say they are neg, but concerned with sucking off guys who are poz, you may wish to evaluate your risk choices - bottoming with guys who say they are neg is probably more risky than sucking off poz guys.
hungry_hole Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 the disease affects everyone differently, some experience more severe side effects than others... Because HIV affects everyone so differently, I have trouble understanding bug chasers. I like having sex and I may not have enough energy to have sex if I were to seroconvert. So what's the point of pozing then? This alone keeps me away from wanting to poz. I still take loads and I may eventually poz but I'm not looking for it. ...Yes I bareback with select few. Do I long to take any load, yes, but what stops me is the consequence. I don;t jump out of airplanes without a parachute...But for those that do love it more than anything else, your priorities maybe different. I would not compare such complex behaviour that takes place in barebacking with daring physical activities.
horny_bareback Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 What about the smaller side effect of HIV medication ?, I heard it makes many people have diarrhea. Surely not good for a hard core bttm, is this true ?.
Guest GoodExercise Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 Grow a pair. You will manage. Then you will die from it.

Good luck. So true! Dont think just do. Theres no way to properly prepare anyway. If you think in terms of wether or not its "worth it" I think you should wait. Us who went for it are destructive fuckers. Personally I have no regrets, though I have some complications and got real sick real quick.
JerryGumby Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 I've been "officially" positive for over 25 years - suspect I was infected many years sooner - I didn't come out until I was 21 but I made up for some lost time and that was back in the late '70's before we knew about HIV. To this day HIV has been the least of my health problems but make no mistake had the new meds not come out in the mid '90's most likely I'd not be here! - However - the side effects of some combinations I've been on were brutal - diarrhea, colesterol in the 400's!, neropathy, fatique , Sustiva Dreams/hangover - but the good news is working with my Dr's I eventually found a combination that not only works but has kept me undetectable for like the last 15 years or more. As I've considered barebacking relatively recently - HIV is the least of my concerns its all the other STD's that make it difficult for me to "let go" and enjoy it... but still I want to. BB porn is about the ONLY thing that does it for me now a days. Glad to have the conversion long behing me but I am still coming to terms with being able to really enjoy it as I'd like. Being retired military still gives me health benefits including medication of which I am so grateful - making up for the unnecessary shorting of my flying career ... but my life whet on and I'm trying to enjoy it to the fullest.... not the least of which is SEX!!
Guest ff-whole Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 I am probably not the right guy to answer but I really don't understand those bug chasers... Because of a simple but heavy flu, my body was kind of run down and I got a nasty fungus infection around my ass, scrotum and armpits. The itch is terrible and I am working with my doctor to get rid of it but its a pain in the butt. I can't fuck around now, cause it is obvious and besides I don't feel that well either... so why do it?
