HungLatinDom Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 I don't, I have plenty of poz friend who are in great shape, my significant other is 63 now, he looks 10 years younger, and he has great muscles, even if covered by fat. I am not on meds, and I need to start working out, need to lose some weight and get a firm body again. When I first was diagnosed I started working out with my bf, and it worked well, but then I had to leave the US.

Thats one of the strange things about roids. They can get you all muscled up, and actually make you more aggressive but can send your horniness down the drain if you arent careful.

Yeah I've wondered why that is. I've heard similar side effects from taking testosterone enhancers. And that just seems wrong...
tl1000 Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 Im neg so I can say if HIV meds slow you down , But I have done roids on and off through-out the years and the side effects of roids are bad if you dont manage your cycles well. They can be even worse if you cycle and stack roids that dont work well in combination. The biggest problem is at the end of your cycle. If you dont cycle off correctly and follow getting off a cycle with a stimulant to kick your natural testosterone production back on you can crash pretty hard.. The older you are the bigger the crash because your body is naturally already producing less testosterone. So you could lose or gain a lot of weight (Not Mass) and your sex drive will really go in the shitter...

RawPozLust Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 I enjoy working out daily. Some days I run, some days I swim, some days I lift weights -- all in moderation, except when training for a marathon. Fortunately, HIV has never affected my activity level.
